In 2014, he participated in the 27th Japan Folk Song Festival 2014. In 2016, he won the 37th Amami Folk Song Grand Prize. Currently active while raising children and working

This is a practice session to preserve and spread the tradition of Kasan Uta, using Ms. Yuriko Moriyama's song as a model. Kasan-uta is the Shima-uta (island song, folk song) of Amami Oshima, and is a way of singing the Shima-uta in the Kasari area (northern part). I also practice shamisen (sanshin = sanshin) and Hachigatsu Odori of Akakina village.
