From Friday, March 8, 2024, we will be holding the "Yumenetsu x Minahamu Pop-up Exhibition" in collaboration with painter and illustrator Minahamu at the shop and attached corner of the Tokyo Yumenoshima Tropical Botanical Museum.
・・・・・・・・・・・・
Since its opening in 1988, the Tokyo Yumenoshima Tropical Botanical Museum has been exhibiting tropical and subtropical plants ecologically and scenically as a facility that widely introduces the relationship between tropical plants and our lives.
In an effort to bring people closer to plants, we regularly hold exhibitions of works in collaboration with artists.
Minahamu attracts attention for her paintings that seem to capture a moment of a person standing in a somewhat familiar everyday life or nostalgic scenery.
Many of his works depict street corners, gardens, riverbanks, and botanical gardens filled with plants.
For this exhibition, Minahamu, who has been inspired by many plants, has created eight new paintings set in the Yumenoshima Tropical Botanical Garden.
In addition to the attached corner where original paintings are displayed, original goods commemorating the Yumenetsu collaboration will be sold at the in-house shop.
This is a project where you can experience the charm of Yumenoshima Tropical Botanical Garden along with Minahamu's world view.
